CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness.

CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective, as well as the beauty that every movement and workout can be scaled and modified to address individual needs. We all started at a square one. Today is your day!

It is the sport of doing everyday movements (squatting, walking, lifting, running, jumping, pulling, swinging, sitting up) uncommonly well. Through constant variation and high intensity, CrossFit athletes achieve noticeable gains and positive results.

To make a long story short, the CrossFit specialty is not specializing. Any type of athlete can benefit from consistently showing up and putting in the work that will train the body to be ready for the demands of any sport or activity.

The mission of CrossFit Iron Refined is to provide a broad and inclusive fitness environment to athletes of all levels. We have sought to build a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency — not only for the unknown, but also for the unknowable. Our coaches are passionate about helping you get the results you want… and then encourage you to go a little bit further. Before you know it, you’ve broken down barriers and achieved goals that you didn’t even know you had.

We’re on a mission to grow our membership to bring new features and offers to the gym. Our vision extends beyond just the present; we’re investing heavily in youth programs. By introducing a CrossFit Teens CrossFit Teens program as well as a CrossFit Kids summer camps aimed at promoting an active lifestyle from an early age.

At CrossFit Iron Refined, we believe in empowering individuals through dynamic physical activity and varied workouts to develop a lifelong love for fitness. Each class is packed with exciting, skill-based challenges that focus on teaching the fundamental functional movements essential for everyday life.

Our goal is to help you grow stronger, improve your skills, and boost your confidence and character, while having fun doing it! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, our program is scalable to meet your needs and accommodate different fitness levels. CrossFit Classes

Are you a woman interested in a strength and conditioning class, but unsure about hopping into a CrossFit class? Women of Iron could be for you! In this strength and conditioning class, you will be exposed to all of the same movements typically seen in a CrossFit class but the intensity is toned down. This is a great class for those who are just starting out, returning to the gym after a long hiatus, those who are pregnant or early postpartum, or those who just want to work out alongside other women. Every class is a full body workout with emphasis on strengthening the core, hips, and balance and working up to/reintroducing dynamic movements like running.

Crossfit Iron Refined Kid Camps and classes are designed to be safe, engaging and FUN! We want to empower kids through physical activity and games to develop a love for lifetime fitness. Kids will learn about the importance of consistent exercise and nutrition and how it affects our bodies. Every class is loaded with age- appropriate excitement coupled with learning the basic functional movements. We want to see your kids grow in strength and skill as well as confidence and character and above all have fun! We provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. The program is scalable for any age or experience level and accounts for varied maturation status, which means it’s for everyone!

CrossFit Kids

CrossFit Iron Refined Teens is a strength and conditioning program designed for both athletes and non-athletes ranging from 12-17. The program combines age-appropriate weightlifting and gymnastics with high intensity training to deliver optimal fitness and performances, as well as to establish a lifetime love of fitness. Proper weightlifting techniques are taught to enhance strength and power under the watchful eye of our CrossFit certified trainers. We also focus on basic gymnastics to increase agility, mobility and flexibility.

Meet The team

We recommend you wear comfortable workout clothes that you can sweat and move in. Spandex is not required. 😀 Please bring a water bottle and possibly a small towel.

What do I need to wear and bring?

Classes are one hour in length. We start with a 10-15 minute warmup. The warm up is a very important part of the class, so please do not arrive late! Typically there is a strength or skill session followed by the WOD (workout of the day), although this varies depending on the day’s programming.

How long are classes and how are they structured?

No! We encourage people to come where they are. Our coaches excel at scaling exercises to fit each individual’s needs. We are all at different points on our fitness journey and want to grow together.

Do I need to be in shape before starting CrossFit?


Olivia Gillquist does all of our programming here at CrossFit Iron Refined.
